Acoustic Wall Panels

Modular Impact-Resistant Panels for Acoustic & Light Control

TruSim Systems’ Acoustic Wall Panels are modular, impact-resistant wall treatments designed for fast installation, improved acoustics, and long-term durability in golf simulator enclosures. Built with a rigid PVC backer, high-density PU foam core, and wrapped in abrasion-resistant ballistic nylon, these panels mount cleanly using industrial-grade 3M adhesive hook—eliminating permanent fasteners and reducing install time.

Panel Construction

Acoustic Core: PU Foam

– Density: 1.87 lb/cubic foot
– Thickness: 0.98 inches

Rigid Backer: PVC Board

– Density: 46.8 lb/cubic foot
– Thickness: 0.118 inches

Fabric Wrap

Panels are wrapped in ballistic nylon as standard. This fabric is highly abrasion-resistant, tear-resistant, and designed for high-wear environments. Optional fabrics such as faux leather may also be specified.

Mounting Method

Panels mount using industrial-grade 3M adhesive-backed hook. This system provides superior long-term adhesion compared to generic hook-and-loop products and allows panels to be installed quickly without brad nails or permanent fasteners.

Common Panel Sizes

FAQS

  • Modular panels eliminate the need for brad nailing or stapling, reduce install time, prevent fabric damage, and allow panels to be replaced or repositioned without damaging walls.

  • Yes. The rigid PVC backer and ballistic nylon wrap are designed to withstand incidental ball contact and high-wear environments.

  • We specify industrial-grade 3M adhesive-backed hook because it has proven long-term adhesion performance, unlike generic alternatives.

  • Yes. Panels can be removed and replaced without damaging the wall surface when installed correctly.

Yes. The PU foam core absorbs reflected sound while the dark fabric exterior reduces light reflections and visual distractions.
