Selected from industrial applications such as grass catcher bags and archery containment systems, this material is used by TruSim Systems to reduce ball rebound, protect enclosure structures, and improve overall simulator safety in both residential and commercial installations.
Why a backer screen matters
A golf impact screen is designed to receive ball contact and provide image clarity, but it is not intended to absorb all residual energy. Without a proper backer layer, excess energy transfers to walls, frames, and enclosure structures, increasing rebound, noise, and long‑term wear.
A properly selected backer screen works in tandem with the impact screen to dissipate energy gradually, creating a safer, quieter, and more controlled hitting environment.
