TruStrap™ SYSTEM

What TruStrap™ Is

TruStrap™  is a speed-focused impact screen finish designed to eliminate the time-consuming process of lacing paracord or bungee cords through grommets and carabiners.

The system uses:
• 1-inch reinforced webbing
• A toothed alligator-style cinch clip
• Attachment points integrated directly into the screen during manufacturing

Instead of threading the cord through multiple grommets and anchor points, installers simply:

• Route the strap to the frame
• Pull to tension (auto-locks)
• Press the release tab to loosen or adjust

No re-lacing. No incremental tightening. No back-and-forth adjustments.

The Installer Problem That Led to TruStrap

We observed installers mounting screens using a common method:

• Paracord running through grommets
• Cord routed up through carabiners attached to the frame
• A shoelace-style tightening process where:

  • One section is tightened
  • Then the entire run must be tightened again
  • Height or tension changes require repeating the process

This approach:
• Takes significant time
• Requires multiple passes
• It is difficult with small crews
• Slows down commercial installs
• Increases labor cost per job

For installers, time is money.

The TruStrap™ Solution

TruStrap replaces cord-based lacing with a single-pull, single-release tensioning system.

How It Works:

• Webbing feeds through a toothed alligator cinch clip
• Pulling the strap tight automatically locks the tension
• The clip’s teeth grip the webbing under load

• To loosen or adjust:

  • Press the release tab
  • Slide the strap freely
  • Re-tension instantly

This allows installers to set screen height and tension in seconds, not minutes.

Residential Screen Replacement Advantage

In residential simulator systems, screen wear is normal over time. When a replacement screen is required, traditional paracord or bungee systems often force installers to return onsite to reinstall the screen themselves.

With TruStrap, replacement screens become customer-installable. Because the system:

• Does not require lacing
• Uses intuitive pull-to-tighten straps
• Can be adjusted without tools
• Is easy to understand visually

Installers can:
• Ship a replacement screen
• Send a short how-to video
• Allow the customer to complete the install themselves

This turns screen replacement from a service call into a simple shipment, saving time, travel, and labor costs.

Available As
• Optional finish on TruSim Systems impact screens
• Integrated during manufacturing
• Can be specified per screen edge or perimeter

TruStrap was not designed in isolation — it was developed by watching installers work on real job sites.

We asked a simple question: How do we give installers their time back?
The answer was to remove re-lacing entirely.
This aligns with TruSim Systems’ core philosophy:

Engineer finishes that reduce labor, not just look good on paper.

Positioning Within Impact Screen Finishes

TruStrap is part of TruSim Systems’ engineered finish lineup:
• Grommets — Legacy, basic option
• TruGrom — Clean perimeter, even tension, sewn-in loop system
• TruStrap — Speed-focused, rapid adjustment, service-call reducing solution
Each finish is purpose-built — TruStrap is the installer efficiency solution.
