Who we are
Canwil Textiles, Inc. (“we”, “us”) operates trusimsystems.com and the TruSim customer ordering portal. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you create a portal account: name, company, email, phone, and shipping addresses.
When you place an order: the product specifications you enter, purchase order numbers, delivery addresses, need-by dates, and the signature you provide to authorise the order.
When you pay by card: we do not collect or store your card number. Card details are entered directly into our payment processor’s secure form and transmitted to them. We receive only the card type, the last four digits, an authorisation code and a transaction reference — enough to identify the payment and issue a refund, and nothing more.
Automatically: standard web log information — IP address, browser type, pages viewed. We use this to keep the site working and secure.

Each is bound to use the information only for that purpose.
How long we keep it
Order and transaction records are kept for 7 years to meet tax, accounting and warranty obligations. Account details are kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards.
How we protect it
Access to customer data is restricted to staff who need it. The portal requires authentication. Card data never reaches our systems, which is deliberate — it means a compromise of our systems cannot expose card numbers.
No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to a business of our size and the information we hold.
Your choices
You may ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you non-essential email. Contact sales@canwiltextiles.com.
We may need to keep some records after a deletion request where the law requires it — order and tax records, for example.
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights, including under California law. Tell us and we will honour them.
Cookies
The portal uses cookies necessary to keep you signed in and to keep your session secure. These are required for the site to function and cannot be switched off.
We do not use analytics or marketing cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. If that changes we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
Children
Our products and services are sold to businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

We will post any changes here with an updated date.
